About The Position
PILF Restaurant Group is looking for a General Manager to lead Cane Rosso at Hillcrest Village. This role involves building a team, setting the standard for hospitality, and driving strong service to achieve strong results. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, hustle, and personality to a team that enjoys working together and loves food and dogs.
Requirements
- At least 1–2 years of full-service restaurant management experience
- Hands-on leadership style and a genuine love of hospitality
- Ability to remain calm, make decisions, and motivate the team during busy shifts
- Confidence in reading financial reports and translating insights into actionable plans
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- Experience with systems such as Aloha/NCR, R365, Google Workspace, and OpenTable
- Pride in work and a drive to help the team succeed

- Pizza experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operation of the restaurant, focusing on guest satisfaction, team strength, and overall performance.
- Lead from the floor by staying present, supporting the team, and setting the pace for excellent service.
- Hire, train, schedule, coach, and recognize both FOH and BOH teams to build a strong and stable crew.
- Create memorable guest experiences, handle concerns with care, and encourage repeat business.
- Manage sales, labor, food and beverage costs, and operating expenses, developing action plans based on financial insights.
- Oversee payroll, inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations.
- Partner on marketing, local outreach, and community relationships to drive business growth.
- Maintain safety, sanitation, security, and health-code standards to protect the team and the guest experience.
- Ensure the restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming.
- Coach managers, build accountability, and support the growth and development of team members.
- Collaborate with HR and corporate leadership on staffing, employee support, and restaurant goals.
