About The Position

RealManage Elevated Onsite is seeking an Onsite General Manager with outstanding leadership and communication skills, a passion for delivering outstanding guest and member services, strong business acumen, excellent planning, and organizational skills. The General Manager must cultivate and maintain many important relationships for the association including working related governing entities and provide service deliverables while managing effective and fiscally sound operations. This role is based in the Doral Isles community, a resort-inspired gated community in Doral, Florida, known for its amenities and active lifestyle.

Requirements

• Minimum of three - five (3-5) Homeowner Association (HOA) Management experience required.
• Associates degree or relevant experience required.
• Florida CAM License & CMCA certification required.
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills are required.
• Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have command of the English language both written and verbal.
• Excellent phone etiquette.
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
• Ability to read, understand, and explain financial statements including balance sheets, income statements and general ledger.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed.
• Ability to lift or move objects up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
• Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
• Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
• Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous onsite management experience strongly preferred.
• AMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily and frequent site inspections to ensure the highest possible standards of safety, courtesy, cleanliness and efficiency are met.
• Maintain a high visible presence within the community and among the team to provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing all members’ inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
• Vendor management: maintain a working relationship with all vendor contacts and oversee maintenance, projects and weekly completion of expectations per individual vendor contracts.
• Prepare monthly meeting notices and Board packets.
• Develop positive relationships with community members.
• Responsible for compliance with all of the community’s policies/procedures as defined by the Board of Directors.
• Plans, develops and approves operational policies, procedures, methods and regulations related to general operating procedures.
• Directs the work of all department managers and/or onsite staff.
• Primary driver in the development of the annual operating, cash, and capital budgets. Develop periodic checkpoints to assess compliance of the published budget.
• Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly financial reports for the Board of Directors.
• Coordinates the development of long-range and annual business plans aligned with association by-laws and policies.
• Oversee the impact and effect of association policies/programs/processes. Recommends changes as needed.
• Monitors quality of association products and services to ensure maximum member and guest satisfaction.
• Secures and protects all the association assets.
• Establishes and maintains on-going dialogue with members to elicit input on Association direction and improvements.
• Coordinates with Board of Directors on the development and implementation of all strategic plans.
• Plans, develops and approves specific operational programs, procedures, methods, rules and regulations in concert with general policies.
• Evaluates committee activities that report to the General Manager.
• Ensures compliance with purchasing policies and procedures.
• Provide counsel to the Management staff to ensure all employees are properly trained, supervised, scheduled and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities.
• Develops, maintains, and disseminates a basic management philosophy to guide all association personnel towards optimal operating results.
• Supports internal controls.
