About The Position

The General Manager (GM) role at this company is designed for individuals who think like owners and are encouraged to exercise creativity in hiring associates, marketing, and community outreach. GMs are responsible for leading store operations and achieving performance goals in sales, customer service, product quality, and staff development. The company provides a multi-week training program with experienced trainers, emphasizing decision-making skills and providing the necessary tools for the job. The ideal candidate is a current GM from a retail or restaurant environment who is passionate about customer service, understands P&L statements, can execute a business plan, and maintains product quality. They should also have a strong desire to increase sales, build community relationships, and excel at coaching and developing talent, with experience hiring seasonal workers being a plus.

  • Demonstrated growth in previous roles
  • Understands what affects the P&L
  • Can execute a business plan
  • Will not compromise on the quality of products served/sold
  • Strong desire to increase sales

  • Great coach who can identify and develop talent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform physical demands including bending, stooping, standing for long periods, twisting, lifting products and supplies up to 65 lbs, and working with a hot torch
