About The Position
This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. The General Manager is also responsible for taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility on a daily basis. Key skills include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication for order processing, and excellent motor coordination for rapid and precise movements. The role requires the ability to enter orders via computer or touchscreen, comprehend written instructions, and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers. Additionally, the position involves delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing flyers, and possessing navigational skills to locate addresses within a designated delivery area, including navigating various terrains and buildings while carrying product.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
