About The Position

The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from the delivery area into storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; prepares product; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes associated paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also involves customer order processing and delivery tasks, including delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
