About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the equipment and facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and give written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and co-workers. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments needed include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting (up to 60 pounds), carrying, pushing, climbing stairs or ladders, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination, continuous use of hands, and frequent/forceful pinching, grasping, and manipulation of tools and materials. Tools and equipment may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel. Additionally, the role includes delivering product by car to customer doors and distributing marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to navigate various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the customer's location, and climbing stairs. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
