About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and receiving/processing telephone orders. The position requires taking inventory, completing paperwork, and daily cleaning of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal and written communication for order processing, and good motor coordination for precise movements. The role also requires entering orders via computer keyboard or touchscreen. Work conditions involve exposure to varying weather, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments needed are the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include significant standing and walking on various surfaces, with work surfaces generally between 36" and 48". Lifting of bulk product deliveries weighing up to 60 pounds is required, with cases stacked up to 72" high. Carrying large cans and pizza sauce (up to 30 pounds) is necessary. Pushing trays on dollies and pulling trays is involved. Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb ladders. Stooping/bending is required at the pizza assembly station and when stocking ingredients. Crouching/squatting is performed occasionally for stocking and cleaning. Reaching continuously (up, down, and forward) is required for various tasks, including operating oven controls and stocking shelves. Hand tasks are continuous and require eye-hand coordination, including frequent and/or forceful pinching for box assembly, grasping various items, and manipulating tools like a pizza peel and rolling cutter. Tools and equipment used include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel. The delivery aspect of the job requires operating a car to deliver product to the customer's door, and distributing marketing materials. A valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle are required. Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses are essential, as is the ability to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and various delivery sites while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing. Driving is a primary function, making multiple deliveries per shift within a designated area. Walking involves travel between the store and the delivery vehicle, and to the customer's location. Climbing may involve navigating five or more flights of stairs. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather during deliveries and couponing. Sensing requirements for driving include far and night vision.
