About The Position

The General Manager role is described alongside general duties and working conditions for hourly store team members, with additional requirements applying to store management positions. The position pays $17.13–$26 per hour, with opportunities to earn bonuses each period. On-the-job orientation and training are provided. The job involves operating store equipment; stocking, preparing, and handling products; processing telephone and in-person orders; taking inventory and completing paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility. Store management team members may also be responsible for delivering products by car and delivering flyers and door hangers.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
For team members in store management positions: valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
For team members in store management positions: access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
For delivery duties: navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
For delivery duties: ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products.
Ability to lift and stock deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds onto shelves as high as 72 inches.
Ability to perform the physical tasks described, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling trays, occasional climbing, bending, crouching, reaching, and continuous hand use.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, the work area, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare products.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
For team members in store management positions: deliver products by car to customers’ doors.
For team members in store management positions: deliver flyers and door hangers.
