About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Orientation and on-the-job training are provided. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, verbal and written communication for order processing, eye-hand coordination for precise movements, and computer/touch screen order entry. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and cramped quarters. Team members must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, sit for paperwork, lift up to 50 pounds, carry various items, push trays on dollies, climb stairs or ladders infrequently, stoop/bend at the waist, crouch/squat occasionally, and reach continuously. Hand tasks require continuous use of hands, with frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough. Team members may use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza wheels. For delivery roles, a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle are required. Delivery personnel must possess navigational skills, be able to carry product while walking and climbing, drive within a designated area, and walk between the store, vehicle, and customer locations. Climbing may involve navigating five or more flights of stairs. Exposure during delivery includes varying weather conditions, and requires far and night vision for driving, as well as daily tire inspection and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
During delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties.
Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area.
Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.
During delivery of product, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required.
Far vision and night vision for driving.
Visually inspect tires to insure proper tread wear and tread depth daily.
Maintain your vehicle in good running condition.
