The General Manager is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the equipment and facility. Training is provided on the job. This role requires strong communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions, and to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Essential functions include accurate and quick mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills, excellent motor coordination for precise movements, and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. The work environment involves exposure to varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking short distances, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting cases up to 60 pounds, carrying items like pizza sauce (30 pounds) and trays of dough (12 pounds each), pushing/pulling trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching. Hand tasks require eye-hand coordination and may involve frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists, pinching for box assembly, and grasping various items. Team members may use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role involves delivering product by car and to the customer's door, delivering marketing materials, and requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle. Navigational skills, including map reading and locating addresses, are essential. Delivery personnel must navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing stairs, driving within a designated area, and walking to and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location. Climbing may involve five or more flights of stairs. Work conditions for delivery include exposure to varying weather conditions and require far and night vision for driving.
