About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, conducting inventory, and cleaning the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, including the ability to comprehend written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and possessing good motor coordination for precise movements. The role also requires entering orders via computer keyboard or touchscreen. Work conditions involve exposure to varying weather, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments needed include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting (up to 60 pounds), carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous use of hands for various tasks like shaping dough and using tools. Tools and equipment may include pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, and pizza peels. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer doors, distributing marketing materials, and requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for delivery include navigational abilities, map reading, and the capacity to navigate various terrains and building types while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving, walking to and from the vehicle, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Work conditions for delivery involve exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
