About The Position

The Hopewell Inn is seeking a full-time, team-oriented General Manager. The ideal candidate is courteous and has excellent leadership and customer service skills. The role oversees restaurant operations, staff, inventory, reservations, deliveries, and closing procedures. The candidate must be willing to work weekdays, nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform all duties of the restaurant.
• Monitor and maintain store inventory pars alongside the Executive Chef.
• Maintain a very clean work environment.
• Monitor day-to-day restaurant events.
• Record all deliveries, including paper and produce, and document any errors.
• Coach and support new and existing staff members.
• Oversee closing of the till and restaurant.
• Make a weekly trip to the bank.
• Oversee reservations and work with the Assistant Manager to ensure reservations are confirmed and prepared for.
• Maintain temperature logs, waste sheets, and inventory sheets.
• Ensure all employees follow company policies and guidelines.
• Maintain professionalism and set an example for all staff.
