About The Position
The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also involves delivering products by car to customers’ doors and delivering flyers and door hangers. The position requires accurate and quick basic arithmetic, handling monetary change, order-taking and communication skills, precise motor coordination, computer or touchscreen order entry, comprehension and communication of written instructions, and navigation of a designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings. The position starting rate is $52K–$70K plus applicable bonus. Benefits listed are a 401(k) plan, health insurance for full-time positions, and bonus eligibility for management roles.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain and delivery sites while carrying product.
