About The Position

85°C Bakery Cafe is hiring for Store Management Team Members for a new location in Centennial, Colorado. Training will take place in the Los Angeles area for approximately 6-8 weeks, with travel, board, and transportation provided. The General Manager is responsible for achieving maximum sales and optimum profit, mentoring and creating a cohesive team of high-performing management and staff, and acting as a backup when the General Manager is not available. This position requires maintaining open communication among staff and liaising between Store Operations and Corporate Directives. As a leader, the GM is responsible for people development, P&Ls, and upholding the highest standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) while supporting 85°C's vision and directives. Founded in 2004, 85°C Bakery Cafe is a global bakery & beverage retail business, publicly traded in Taiwan, built on the idea of providing five-star quality pastries and drinks at an affordable price. Requirements

  • High School Diploma; AA degree, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
  • Two (2) years of store management experience in bakery, restaurant or fast-food.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with high self-confidence and able to clearly communicate complex information.
  • In-depth understanding of 85°C products and future concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in Training, Operation Development, and Customer Service
  • Maintain and foster an owner mentality among self and all subordinating managers.
  • Personal familiarity with daily store operation, from opening to closing.
  • Experience in management of high volume stores, in direct supervision of ten (10) or more employees.
  • Ability to work full-time, including nights and weekend hours.
  • Moderate physical activity required.
  • Sufficient strength to perform duties including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead.
  • May be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.

  • Meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives; maintain high personal sales level and drive store results through others.
  • Support the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse pool of talents.
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service to each guest.
  • Drive customer service by coaching and modelling the desired behaviors.
  • Maintain high standard of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety.
  • Monitor and meet the performance standard, including but not limited to 85°C policies, core values, and standard operating procedure.
  • Cross train in each department including: Bread, Cake, POS, Bar.
