About The Position
The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also involves delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. The position requires order processing and customer communication in person and by telephone, accurate basic arithmetic and cash change handling, computer or touchscreen order entry, and the ability to navigate delivery locations and terrain while carrying products.
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate adverse terrain and delivery locations while carrying products.
