About The Position

Wrightway Rental & Supply is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our rental and supply business. The General Manager will be responsible for leading staff, driving sales growth, managing inventory and equipment utilization, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across all departments. This individual will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the company while upholding our commitment to customer service and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Previous management experience required, preferably in equipment rental, construction supply, construction, industrial, or related industries.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, inventory management, equipment utilization, and customer service.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and related business software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations of the rental and supply business.
  • Manage and supervise office staff, sales personnel, mechanics, drivers, and yard employees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Monitor equipment utilization and fleet performance to maximize return on assets.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels for rental equipment, tools, parts, and construction supplies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, vendors, and manufacturers.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and operational reports.
  • Review financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure all equipment maintenance, inspections, and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management of employees.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with ownership on business planning, capital expenditures, and growth initiatives.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and customer satisfaction.
