About The Position

The Original Pancake House is looking for an upbeat, driven, professional & team-oriented leader. At OPH our mission is quite simple; connect with people and brighten their day! We are a growing company, looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our team in Fishers, IN. All potential applicants should be available & willing to work weekends. This is a basic requirement of our management team due to the nature of being a breakfast only restaurant. The Original Pancake House operates 363 days a year, closed on Christmas Day & Thanksgiving Day. We are open Monday through Friday 7am-2pm, Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm. No evenings! General Managers will work a minimum 40 hours per week. Depending on time of year & business demands. The GM position is a full time salaried position, starting at $60,000/year (+ bonuses and incentives). In addition to their base annual salary, all GMs can earn weekly bonuses and salary adjustments dependent on growth of the business & operational performance. All full-time employees will be eligible for company-sponsored health benefits, a company-matched 401K program, and paid vacation time. Managers must always present themselves professionally. Management attire is business casual (clothes should be comfortable yet professional – no jeans).

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the service industry, preferably a full service restaurant.
  • Must possess detailed knowledge of front and back of house management & strong communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in ordering, inventory management, scheduling, employee development, staff training and guest service.
  • Must possess leadership skills that encourage personal and professional achievement.
  • Responsible for fostering a positive, upbeat workplace culture while upholding company policies and expectations.
