As General Manager, you will lead a high-volume airport restaurant, inspiring and developing a team that consistently delivers outstanding guest service, operational excellence, and exceptional food quality. This role is responsible for driving business results through strong leadership, talent development, and a guest-first mindset. The General Manager oversees all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, inventory management, food quality, financial performance, and compliance with company and airport standards. Success in this role requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, develops people, and creates a culture built on accountability, teamwork, and exceptional hospitality.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant, quick-service, fast-casual, or hospitality environment.
Strong team development, coaching, and performance management skills.
Passion for guest service and hospitality leadership.
Food quality, food safety, and operational execution expertise.
Labor, inventory, cost control, and profit management experience.
Financial acumen with the ability to analyze and improve business performance.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strategic problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team focused on delivering an exceptional Hatch guest experience.
Recruit, onboard, train, and coach team members to achieve operational and guest service excellence.
Foster a culture of accountability, respect, teamwork, and continuous development.
Ensure consistent execution of food quality, preparation, presentation, safety, and service standards.
Drive guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality and prompt resolution of guest concerns.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and seamless execution during peak travel periods.
Manage labor, inventory, ordering, food costs, waste, and operating expenses to achieve financial goals.
Analyze sales trends, operational metrics, and business performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, security, airport, and company policies.
Create schedules that support business demands while maximizing productivity and team engagement.
Lead by example on the floor, maintaining a visible presence and supporting the team during high-volume periods.
Ensure proper cash handling, inventory controls, and adherence to operational procedures.
Partner with airport stakeholders and support teams to ensure a positive operational and guest experience.
Promote a culture of safety, urgency, and hospitality while maintaining brand standards.
