As the individual who oversees a market team of designers, editors, reporters, and account executives, the General Manager skillfully weaves together our Impacters’ strengths. In doing so, they enable our team to deliver beautiful, high-quality, local media to over two million readers. Note: this role requires office hours in Jersey Village on Mondays and as needed for training/team events. However, the vast majority of the role's duties will be conducted from the field in the Bellaire/Meyerland/West University and Heights/River Oaks/Montrose areas.

Requirements

• Proven success in business-to-business (B2B) sales.
• Ability to blend creative direction and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle a high level of responsibility, independence, and trust.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing talent.
• Sharp eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a market team of designers, editors, reporters, and account executives.
• Delivers beautiful, high-quality, local media to over two million readers.
• Interfaces with city officials, school board members, business owners and other community leaders.
• Sets, monitors, and attains sales goals.
