About The Position
As the individual who oversees a market team of designers, editors, reporters, and account executives, the General Manager skillfully weaves together our Impacters’ strengths. In doing so, they enable our team to deliver beautiful, high-quality, local media to over two million readers. This role requires office hours in Jersey Village on Mondays and as needed for training/team events. However, the vast majority of the role's duties will be conducted from the field in the Bellaire/Meyerland/West University and Heights/River Oaks/Montrose areas.

- Proven success in business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Ability to blend creative direction and leadership skills
- Enjoy a high level of responsibility, independence, and trust
- Sharp eye for detail
Responsibilities
- Oversee a market team of designers, editors, reporters, and account executives.
- Enable the team to deliver beautiful, high-quality, local media.
- Interface with city officials, school board members, business owners and other community leaders.
- Set, monitor and attain sales goals.
- Coach, mentor, and build up the talent around you.
