About The Position

The General Manager leads a restaurant team and is responsible for financial results. The role focuses on creating a great workplace, delivering an excellent customer experience, and serving high-quality food. General Managers are expected to set high standards, lead by example, and embody Five Guys’ core convictions: remain humble, exceed expectations, always do the right thing, and lead by example. The position starts at $70,000 annually and is eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to food safety, financial success, and customer experience. General Managers are eligible for up to 12 weeks of paid Family Bonding Leave, based on time with the company, with immediate eligibility upon hire. Most locations operate from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and do not have drive-throughs.

Requirements

At least 2 years of leadership experience in the restaurant industry.
Experience with responsibility for financial results.
Ability to set high standards and lead by example.
Honest, energetic, motivational, and fun demeanor.
Commitment to creating a positive workplace and serving customers well.
