About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning the facility. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making change, verbal and written communication, motor coordination for precise movements, and computer/touch screen order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, infrequent climbing, stooping/bending, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous hand use including forceful pinching and grasping. Additionally, the role includes delivering product by car to customer doors, delivering marketing materials, and requires a valid driver's license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for delivery include navigational abilities, map reading, and the ability to navigate various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the vehicle, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Work conditions for delivery involve exposure to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
