About The Position

Assembly Health is seeking a strategic and results-driven General Manager for our SNF RCM Division. This role requires a proven track record of building high-performing teams, establishing the operating infrastructure for scaling, driving strong P&L performance, improving customer satisfaction and retention, and cultivating a results-driven culture. The ideal candidate thrives in growth environments and can translate vision into disciplined execution within private equity-backed or growth-stage companies. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Requirements

  • 8 to 10+ years of progressive RCM experience, specifically within the SNF industry.
  • At least 3 years in a senior leadership or GM role.
  • Proven success owning and growing a $10M+ P&L within a PE-backed or growth-stage environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable operating models and automation-enabled processes.
  • Strong understanding of Skilled Nursing reimbursement systems, payer policies, and revenue cycle KPIs.
  • Experience working with an offshore business model and global partners.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and at times stressful environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans that align with company strategy and financial goals.
  • Partner with the COO to design and implement the infrastructure, organization design, process maturity, and technology enablement required to scale.
  • Implement data-driven performance management through dashboards and KPIs, driving accountability for outcomes.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the senior leadership team on performance management, operating rhythm, and investment priorities.
  • Own and deliver on P&L, revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA targets.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial discipline to ensure financial health and profitability.
  • Provide regular financial and operational updates and performance reports to the senior leadership team.
  • Oversee day-to-day RCM operations to ensure productivity, quality, client, and employee engagement outcomes meet or exceed expectations.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvements and opportunities to scale the business unit and implement changes to enhance overall performance.
  • Champion customer satisfaction and retention across all clients.
  • Anticipate and proactively address churn risks.
  • Build senior-level relationships with key accounts and represent the division in executive-sponsor programs.
  • Build and lead a team that combines operational rigor with customer focus.
  • Define the org structure, success profiles, and development plans required for scale.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop next-generation leaders and drive engagement across the division.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to develop and implement strategies that enhance brand awareness and attract new customers.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise during sales pursuits and renewals.
  • Other duties as assigned or required by the business.
