About The Position

Hard Rock International is seeking a talented Retail Rock Shop, General Manager for our NYC Times Square Hard Rock Cafe - Rock Shop. Our operators are true entrepreneurs who manage large teams, drive bottom-line results, and multi-dimensional operations that encompass fresh, made-from-scratch ingredients, iconic bars, live music, phenomenal events, and rocking retail operations. Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in the Retail Industry (comparable years of retail operations management experience)
Strong leadership behaviors coupled with the technical skill set to drive the business toward success.
Genuine enthusiasm and aptitude for serving people
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of business acumen and common sense
Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills through the ability to diagnose and implement solutions
Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading, and writing.
Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
Proven track record of managerial success in a fast-paced environment by possessing the experience, ability, and knowledge to move the business forward financially while focusing on human capital.
Ability to make high-quality and complex decisions.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
