About The Position

Join a Market Leader in the Building Materials Industry! We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our thriving Pacific Northwest Millwork shop. As a leader in the building materials space, we are looking for a motivated individual to manage all aspects of our business, including production, installation, customer service, and administration, while collaborating directly with the market sales team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and leading a dedicated team of professionals.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Construction, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing and construction management.
Experience with national and regional builders preferred.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams and driving results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify and solve complex business problems.
Strong analytical and financial management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software applications.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement business strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
Manage full Profit and Loss of the division.
Oversee daily operations including manufacturing, logistics, dispatch installation, customer service, and administration.
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.
Stay informed on industry trends and best practices.
Lead, coach, and mentor employees to foster a high-performance culture.
Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to ensure financial health.
Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure alignment and effective problem-solving with internal and external stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
