General Manager Maintenance - B Shift - Finney County Plant
About The Position
This position assists with the overall management of maintenance operations. The role involves overseeing all designated shift operations while complying with USDA and OSHA requirements and company policies. It requires determining manpower needs, making recommendations, and assisting with controlling expenses. The position also involves preparing and maintaining records and reports, working with department heads to meet production, quality, and yield goals, and inspecting and maintaining competence in housekeeping, safety, sanitation, and security. Additionally, the role includes interviewing, hiring, and training team members, planning, assigning, directing, and monitoring work, appraising work performance, and rewarding, coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members, as well as addressing complaints and resolving issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of related industry experience
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferably in a meat processing facility
- Knowledge of OSHA USDA and HACCP regulations
- Standard computer skills (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HACCP, Safety, Security, Sanitation, Quality and Yields; cost and efficiencies
