About The Position

The General Manager in Training role at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a dynamic program designed to immerse individuals in all facets of running a multimillion-dollar entertainment venue. This is a hands-on, active training experience where participants will rotate through various operational areas, including bowling, arcade, food and beverage, bar, and events. Trainees will work closely with experienced leaders to understand operational standards, labor management, and revenue generation. The program emphasizes practical application, requiring trainees to take ownership of shifts, manage labor, make real-time decisions during peak times, and drive sales through guest engagement and marketing initiatives. A significant part of the training involves developing financial literacy, covering labor management, cost of goods sold, inventory, and cost control, preparing them for full Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility.

Requirements

  • Progressive leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant, or high-volume operations.
  • A track record of supporting sales and contributing to revenue growth.
  • Experience training and coaching teams in fast-paced environments.
  • An active, floor-first leadership style with a genuine focus on guest experience.
  • Foundational financial knowledge including labor management, cost control, and basic P&L.
  • Full schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through bowling, arcade, food and beverage, bar, and events operations to build full-center fluency.
  • Work directly with the General Manager and department leaders to learn how operational standards, labor decisions, and revenue targets connect.
  • Take ownership of shifts, flex labor across departments, and make in-the-moment calls during high-volume periods.
  • Drive sales by engaging with guests, supporting events, and executing marketing and promotional programs.
  • Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and performance conversations for hourly team members.
  • Build financial literacy across labor management, COGS, inventory, and cost control in preparation for full P&L ownership.
