About The Position

As a General Manager in Training, you'll gain hands-on experience leading all aspects of a high-volume retail business while developing the skills needed to become a successful General Manager. This immersive training program combines real-world leadership experience, mentorship, and structured development to prepare you to confidently lead a store, build high-performing teams, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
2+ years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, military, logistics, operations, or another customer-focused environment.
Passion for leading and developing people.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze information and make sound business decisions.
Adaptability, resilience, and a willingness to learn.
Ability to travel frequently (up to 75%, including some nights/weekends)
Ability to pass State and Federal background checks (Federal Firearm Licensing)
Must be willing and able to relocate as needed to support business needs and career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Learn all facets of store operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory management, customer experience, safety, and financial performance.
Lead, coach, and develop team members while building an engaged and accountable culture.
Partner with experienced store leaders to strengthen your business acumen and leadership capabilities.
Analyze sales and operational metrics to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure operational excellence through execution of company standards, policies, and procedures.
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and talent development initiatives.
Champion a safe, clean, and customer-focused shopping environment.
Take ownership of special projects and store initiatives that prepare you for future leadership opportunities.
