About The Position

As a General Manager at Sodexo, you’ll lead and manage all aspects of food and catering service operations for a large Corporate Service Account Headquarters in the Manhattan Beach, CA area. This site including 2 full-service cafés, coffee service, and a micro-market. In addition to overseeing daily operations, you will be responsible for building out a comprehensive catering program to support on-site events and client needs. Your expertise in budgeting, strategic planning, team development, and client relations will drive success. You’ll oversee a team of 25 associates and a team of culinary managers, ensuring excellence in service and operations. Requirements

  • Leadership experience, union experience preferred
  • Culinary background in food and catering operations
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting.
  • Comfort with accounting, financial discussions, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client partnerships.
  • Experience leading large teams, developing leaders, and driving operational consistency.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
