About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager to lead our food service operations at St. Margaret’s Center, a pediatric and young adult skilled care facility in Albany, New York. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you will oversee meal service for approximately 90 residents, an off-campus national school lunch program and vending. Requirements

  • Ability to lead and direct the food operations team.
  • A culinary background with knowledge of special diets.
  • A strong financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation, with the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.
  • Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 15 employees including one manager.
  • Develop exceptional client relations and ensure the dining program goals are met.
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.
  • Integrate fully within our client's organization and be a trusted advisor with a customer service focus.
