About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager to lead our food service operations at St. Margaret’s Center, a pediatric and young adult skilled care facility in Albany, New York. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you will oversee meal service for approximately 90 residents, an off-campus national school lunch program and vending. Requirements

Ability to lead and direct the food operations team.
A culinary background with knowledge of special diets.
A strong financial acumen.
Knowledge of safety and sanitation, with the ability to ensure compliance.
Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service.
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of 15 employees including one manager.
Develop exceptional client relations and ensure the dining program goals are met.
Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.
Integrate fully within our client's organization and be a trusted advisor with a customer service focus.
