General Manager 3 - Food
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 to lead food services for a private school in Kansas City, MO. We’re looking for a dynamic leader with strong food management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and develop teams. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day dining operations, ensure high standards for quality and safety, and create a welcoming, student-focused dining experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging daily with students, faculty, and staff. This position offers meaningful involvement within the school community along with a primarily Monday–Friday schedule. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. Requirements
- Demonstrated leadership in employee engagement, with a strong history of supervisory experience and a collaborative management style.
- Extensive culinary experience, with a solid understanding of food safety and sanitation compliance standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate professionally, and deliver exceptional customer service with passion and consistency.
- Strong organizational skills, with the flexibility to adapt and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3 years Minimum Management Experience
- 3 years Minimum Functional Experience
