Posh is hiring a GM, Experiences to stand up and own our experiential arm. Creating and executing against a multi-faceted roadmap, this role will curate several live spaces and experiences, maximizing Posh brand awareness among consumers across the US and beyond. Posh is oriented around a simple goal: become the first place anyone thinks of when they want to be social. In the product, that means discovery surfaces that provide curated event recommendations. The experiential arm will be an extension of our product, providing an example for our organizers to follow and a perk for our consumers. You will own two P&Ls and a multi-million dollar annual budget: Our New York venue: A permanent room in the city that delivers real value to our New York user base, doubles as an exclusive perk for our top organizers, and becomes the prototype for a venue concept we plan to run nationwide. Curated social experiences: Monthly multi-thousand-attendee marquee moments — block parties, food festivals, community-scale consumer events — paired with smaller weekly recurring experiences that give specific communities a place to see the same faces every week and build actual relationships. In year one, your mandate is a break-even business that measurably moves how the world perceives Posh. From there you’ll re-orient toward making as much profit as possible, building the team, systems, and relationships that make Posh Experiences a durable moat. Simply put, this role is a conglomeration of venue operations, event production, brand marketing, and overall business management. You are a general manager, the CEO of a business inside of our core business — you will own the overall success of this business from top to bottom. You’ll own outcomes like: Posh Live contribution margin (break-even in year one, profitable thereafter), Ticket revenue and attendance across the experiences portfolio, Venue utilization in collaboration with our Community and Success teams, Repeat attendance and retention among the consumers who attend our experiences, Earned attention and brand consideration attributable to our consumer experiences. This role reports to the CEO, in-person 5 days a week at our office in Soho, NYC.
