About The Position

The General Maintenance role at Hilton Anaheim is described as a 2nd Class Operating Engineer position responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of hotel equipment and machinery. The role helps deliver memorable guest experiences by keeping hotel systems functioning reliably.

The schedule requires availability from 3:30 p.m. to midnight or 11:30 p.m. to 8 a.m., including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Availability to work either 3:30 p.m.–12 a.m. or 11:30 p.m.–8 a.m., including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, chillers, pumps, electric motors, water softeners, electric generators, and hot water generators through regular monitoring and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to maintain functionality and prevent system failures.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and ensure reliable performance.
• Document completed repairs and flag issues that require further attention.
