About The Position

This role is responsible for monitoring property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance. The General Maintenance team member will maintain flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance. They will also remove and bag trash from all exterior trash cans, and maintain the appearance of fountains, planters, or other ground features by cleaning, replacing, or making repairs. Additionally, this role will maintain the appearance and safety of sidewalks, driveways, cart paths, or parking lots by filling in cracks and holes, and making other repairs. A key responsibility includes controlling, registering, and adjusting chemical conditions of pool water and Jacuzzi water within the determined parameters according to local standards, as well as cleaning the pool basin and Jacuzzi, and related water pumps, filters, and heaters.

Requirements

Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
Monitor property grounds, pool, and Jacuzzi to ensure a pleasant appearance.
Monitor weather conditions and seek shelter in the event of severe weather, such as a lightning storm.
Report defective equipment to the manager/supervisor.
Perform pre-operation equipment safety checks when using any equipment.
