About The Position

Gibbons Whistler is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join their team. The maintenance crew works across various venues, including bars, restaurants, hotels, and offices, to ensure they are in excellent condition. Daily tasks involve a range of activities from minor repairs to preventive maintenance projects, all aimed at creating positive environments for guests and staff.

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in building, hotel, or general maintenance.
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Strong leadership experience
Ability to be pro-active and problem solve.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance tasks across multiple Gibbons Whistler venues.
Assist with repairs, renovations, and general maintenance.
Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Work collaboratively with other team members and venue managers to address maintenance needs promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
