About The Position

Gibbons Whistler is seeking a General Maintenance Technician with HVAC experience to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys variety, learning, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The technician will work across various venues, including bars, restaurants, hotels, and offices, ensuring they are in top shape. Responsibilities include HVAC troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance, as well as general maintenance tasks to create exceptional spaces for guests and staff.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in HVAC, building, hotel, or general maintenance
• Hands-on knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is an asset
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive attitude
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Positive outlook and commitment to supporting our venues and team

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks across multiple Gibbons Whistler venues
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment
• Assist with repairs, renovations, and general maintenance projects
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Collaborate with team members and venue managers to address maintenance needs promptly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
