General Maintenance Technician

About The Position
ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a General Maintenance Technician to complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, doors: interior and exterior, painting, is required. This is a 1st shift position from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. The pay is $23.49 per hour. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
- A valid State Drivers License is required.
- Basic knowledge of proper use of power tools, hand tools.
- Recognize various hardware parts and methods of repair for related tasks.
- Must possess organizational skills.
- Must be able to perform unsupervised.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, doors: interior and exterior, painting, is required.

Responsibilities
- Completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, instrumentation, and other equipment, systems or structures
- Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities
- Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary
