About The Position

Responsible for daily maintenance, installation, dismantlement, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical or electrical equipment. This role ensures that all equipment continues to run effectively and facility systems operate efficiently and reliably. The position involves working with various types of machinery and infrastructure, participating in projects, and managing supplier and contractor activities. It also requires adherence to company objectives and safety protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 3 years of maintenance technician experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lawfully obtain access to export-controlled items.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand precision measuring instruments, electrical or electronic testing devices, drawings and schematics, equipment user manuals, activity and task instructions.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3+ years maintenance experience with PLC Systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and electrical repair.
• Formal PLC training and/or extensive hands-on PLC experience.
• Experience in ultra-high vacuum systems.
• Experience with man lifts (scissor and boom) and forklifts.
• Advanced computer skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment runs effectively and facility systems operate efficiently and reliably.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic machinery, combustion systems, electrical and electronic equipment.
• Install, assemble, rebuild and repair all types of equipment and support all facilities infrastructure.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment.
• Participate in projects and planning events. Interface with suppliers and lead contracting activities. Use Computer Maintenance Management System.
• Identify, specify, and use spare and replacement parts.
• Participate, lead, and actively support all necessary training, EHS, Human Performance, and company or department objectives.
• Provide coverage for shift and weekend work, as well as holidays and emergencies.
