About The Position

The General Liability Claims Supervisor leads a liability claims team handling claims of varying sizes and complexity, ensuring high-quality, efficient service and adherence to Gallagher Bassett’s Best Practices. The role oversees team performance and workloads, supports adjuster hiring and training, identifies coaching and development opportunities, and uses Gallagher technology to improve efficiency and service quality. It also involves professional, positive, and proactive communication with clients, carriers, and brokers, while managing competing priorities and promoting continuous improvement.

Requirements

At least 7 years of related claims experience, including Commercial General Liability claims handling.
Experience handling complex litigation, bodily injury, and property damage claims.
At least 4 years of prior leadership experience.
High school diploma.
Appropriate licenses and/or certifications in all states where claims are handled.
Knowledge of all team-member-related functions.

Nice To Haves

Nationwide jurisdictional experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree.
