General Liability Claims Adjuster - Dedicated Account
About The Position
This role requires the candidate to go into the office 2 days per week. Ideal candidates for this role will have a strong claims background with at least 5 years of Commercial General Liability Experience, including Bodily Injury and Premises Liability. Retail experience and property damage experience are a plus. Multi-state jurisdictional experience is preferred, but candidates with experience in all jurisdictions will be considered. Active adjuster licenses are preferred. In this role, you will investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex General Liability claims with limited supervision, utilizing strong analytical and decision-making skills to drive claims toward resolution. You will collaborate closely with clients to provide strategic claims solutions and support effective claims management practices. You will also prioritize competing responsibilities while delivering high-quality service to clients, claimants, and internal stakeholders. A key responsibility will be to analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposure on a variety of claims, including litigated matters.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of General Liability claims handling experience
- Appropriate adjuster licensing and/or certifications for applicable jurisdictions
- Strong understanding of industry standards, claims practices, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with claims management systems and related business software
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience handling Retail Liability claims
- Property Damage and Bodily Injury claims experience
- Litigation management experience
- Knowledge of contractual indemnification, tenders, risk transfer, and coverage analysis
- Multi-state experience preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
