About The Position
Perform daily and monthly journal entries as well as GL reconciliations. Assist with month-end closing. Responsible for tax filings, license filings. Prepare and analyze financial reports.
Requirements
- Minimum five years casino accounting experience showing progressive growth.
- Working knowledge of general accounting procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 10-key and accounting software required.
- Basic math, computer and communication skills required.
- Ability to multitask and meet multiple and specified deadlines.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Gaming registration.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records for all accounts and be able to efficiently communicate same.
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Assist with daily/monthly journal entries.
- Assist in processing payroll
- Assist in processing A/P
- Assist with coding of credit cards and pay in a timely manner.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax fillings
- Investigate and report any discrepancies noted in any areas.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Casino operation data.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
