Responsibilities

  • Collects, analyzes, monitors, and reports on the organization’s financial matters, managing and ensuring compliance with the organization’s financial policies, professional standards and all laws.
  • Responsible for general accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable and expense reimbursement and revenue accounting (including accounts receivable).
  • Responsible for general accounting activities including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, and preparing account and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintains integrity of accounting information and systems, in accordance with standards and rules under GAAP, as well as other regulating bodies.
  • Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes.
  • Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion.
  • Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members.
  • Individual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomy.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
