About The Position

You will report directly to the Foreman and Plant Manager in this full-time role based at our manufacturing facility. This position combines hands-on shop floor work, carpentry support, robotics operation, and general factory labour. You will operate a variety of equipment, use construction software applications, support wood framing construction, and contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality, energy-efficient building components.

Responsibilities

Operate and care for construction equipment, tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
Support daily shop floor production, including wood framing, material handling, and component assembly.
Assist with robotics operation and other manufacturing equipment as trained.
Help ensure factory machinery and work areas are maintained in safe and good working order.
Assess the quality of materials and completed work to support production standards.
Develop woodworking and construction skills while learning Paradigm's systems and processes.
Work as part of a team manufacturing wood wall panels and components.
Learn and apply building techniques used in high-quality, energy-efficient homes.
Support occasional out-of-town travel to construction sites when required.
