Requirements

Experience working in the construction industry.
Experience with operating forklifts, telehandler, skid steer, and other small machinery is required.
Reliable and has a strong work ethic.
Basic understanding of construction procedures and safety guidelines.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
A valid driver's license is required.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barricades, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Handle basic tools and equipment for site preparation, such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and rakes.
Transport and handle construction materials safely and efficiently.
Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper storage and organization on-site.
Operate basic construction equipment with limited supervision, including but not limited to forklifts, telehandler, skid steer, and other small machinery.
Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Collaborate with solar installation teams to facilitate the assembly and installation of solar panels and related infrastructure.
Help with the positioning and securing of solar components.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the site supervisor.
Work closely with fellow team members and follow instructions from supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination with various construction teams.
