About The Position

Cayuga Displays is a leading manufacturer of temperature-controlled display products, including refrigerated showcases and food bars. As part of our dedicated team in Cayuga, Canada, you will play a vital role in assembling high-quality products that serve customers across the food service and retail industries. We are looking for an open-minded person to be able to work in our woodworking shop but also open to working on our refrigerated showcases as needed. Requirements

• Ability to read and follow drawings
• Ability to work with small hand tools, power tools, sliding tables saws and other cutting equipment
• Laminating
• Basic assembly of wood and/or metal products
• Problem solving skills and detail minded
• Work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to work overtime when needed

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assemble refrigerated showcases or food bars according to engineering drawings, specifications, and assembly procedures. Assembly includes working with sheet metal parts, wiring, and working with glass.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that arise during assembly or testing and implement appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback for product improvement and optimization.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
