General Labourer
About The Position
The General Labourer is responsible for supporting daily operations through a variety of tasks, including material handling, equipment clean-up, site maintenance, general housekeeping, and assisting production, harvest, and maintenance teams as required. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment. This position is available on both day and night shifts and may be scheduled based on operational requirements: Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. or 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Night Shift: 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.
Requirements
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- High Initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, accountability and reliability
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with teammates, customers and suppliers
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must have own means of transportation to and from work.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Production Supervision and management to determine priorities and courses of action to improve product quality and employee safety
- Ensure all company procedures are being followed
- At all times work in a manner that maintains the safety of themselves and others
- Work extra hours as required to keep production running
- Additional duties as required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
