About The Position

AIM Recycling is recruiting a Receiver Non-Ferrous for its Caribou, Maine location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the successful candidate will receive, sort, organize, classify, weigh, and track non-ferrous metals. The role also involves general maintenance of the premises, maintaining equipment, entering data into the in-house receiving software, providing customer service, assisting with torch cutting when necessary, and preparing shipments and receiving equipment using a forklift as required. The position is permanent and full-time, with 40 hours per week and some rotating weekend work. Overtime is available.

Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Customer service experience, preferably in retail.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in metal recycling is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and organize different types of non-ferrous metals.
• Classify non-ferrous metals and establish the type of material.
• Weigh and track material accurately.
• Perform general maintenance of the premises.
• Ensure equipment is in good condition.
