About The Position

AIM Recycling is seeking a Receiver Non-Ferrous with experience for their Caribou, Maine location. This role involves general maintenance of the premises under the supervision of the Site Manager. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, capable of learning quickly, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. AIM Recycling has a history of eight decades, an international presence, and invests in its installations and employees.

Requirements

• Experience in operating a forklift
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work as a team
• Excellent attendance and safety record

Nice To Haves

• Experience in metal recycling
• Customer Service experience in a retail preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metals
• Classify the non-ferrous and establish the type of material
• Properly weigh and track the material
• Do general maintenance of the premises
• Ensure the equipment in good condition
• Data entry into the in-house receiving software
• Provide excellent customer service
• Help with torch cutting if necessary
• Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
• Work with a safety oriented mindset
