About The Position

Responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining the yard and all surrounding facilities. This role involves performing quality maintenance of the yard and recycling buildings, clearing debris and trash, processing tire and wheel assemblies, and performing on-site setup, prepping, and clean-up tasks. The position requires the ability to work outdoors in various elements and to follow all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and talk or hear.
Primarily on their feet for long periods of time.
Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Previous experience is a benefit but is not required.
New members will be provided with the proper training and equipment to do the job at task.

Responsibilities

Perform quality maintenance of yard and recycling buildings.
Clear debris and trash from the yard and processing area for customers and equipment.
Process tire and wheel assemblies including dismounting, pricing, and sorting.
Must be able to work outside in the elements.
Perform setup, prepping, and clean up tasks on-site.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
