About The Position
Active in multiple aspects of producing our inventory for sale and/or delivery. This role involves locating parts/merchandise, auditing them against order specifications, verifying part condition and damage, managing inventory efficiently, preparing parts for storage or shipment, and resolving discrepancies. The specialist will also continuously audit inventory using software and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
- Forklift certification. Training and certification available.

- New members will be provided with the proper training and equipment to do the job at task.
Responsibilities
- Locates parts/merchandise and pulls from inventory demonstrating an understanding of the Hollander parts numbering system and warehouse locations according to customer work order or sales invoice.
- Audits automotive parts/merchandise to order specifications.
- Verifies part condition and damage against order using ARA damage locators as it relates to inspecting merchandise and maintaining quality control.
- Manages inventory efficiently and effectively by placing merchandise in an organized and understandable manner, verifying quality when parts are put into inventory and ensuring tags are visible.
- Prepares parts/merchandise for storage and/or shipment using proper bagging, tagging, wrapping and packaging to prevent damage.
- Effectively communicates and resolves any discrepancies from the customer’s order specifications.
- Continuously audits inventory using our state of the art software and resolves any discrepancies.
